After such a busy week and a very sad day I thought to post some uplifting photos to end the week. Enjoy!

Just a few pics from previous visits to one of my favorite cities – NYC. Enjoy!

Breton stripes outside Despaña NYC –  a great Spanish market and eatery on Broome St.

Lucky me! I found the perfect lighting in Despaña… I make Pata Negra look good! :P

Ghost bus at Times Square.

Mother and child at MOMA.

One of many rickshaws within Central Park.

Gadgets (and colors) galore in Bryant Park.

From Grand Central to Chrysler with (bokeh) love.

Have I told you how much I hate Mondays? (Sunday nights are a close second.) The start of the work week is never enjoyable for me. I hate the feeling that the weekend feels so far away. To make matters worse it felt like everything was going wrong today. Oh well, here’s to Tuesday… (happy thoughts, happy thoughts!), one day closer to Friday! :)

Good luck wiping this off my face!

In the last few years I’ve discovered that I have a passion for photography… specifically food and candid shots. This post focuses on candids. I find candids much more interesting than composed shots. There is something about capturing someone or something in it’s element, carrying on almost unconsciously. It’s voyueristic, I know. But nothing is forced and often times these images allow the viewer to use their own imagination to understand what is happening. Here are a few shots I took in NYC that you might enjoy (you peeping tom!). :D

If I could choose a big city in the US to live in I would dive right into NYC… yea, no surprise really.  But actually I haven’t been to too many big cities in the US.  (actually I feel like I have, I just don’t have good pics I’ve taken from them!) Here are a few things I love about NYC! :D  To see additional photos from my trip, check out my flickr page:
